What a great weekend it was! Friday night was just a normal evening. My daughter had soccer, but otherwise it was a quiet evening at home. Saturday was filled with activity. I started my day off with Zumba, then we had a soccer game and then my son had baseball practice. I got the chance to go out with several friends to enjoy a great dinner at Cilantro, a Thai restaurant that I had not been to before and then enjoyed Girls Night: the Musical at the Akron Civic Theatre. Sunday afternoon we fit in grocery shopping and a baseball practice for my son.
This week's menu continues to use up stuff in the freezer. I am trying to essentially empty the upstairs freezer and then will start to restock.
Sunday
Chicken Enchiladas
Monday
Chicken and Dumplings
Tuesday
Pizza
Wednesday
Lasagne/Pasta
Thursday
Tacos
Friday
Hot Dogs
Saturday
TBD
Breakfast is cereal or oatmeal each morning. Lunch for the kids is either the school lunch or usually a couple of times a week they pack. Lunch for my husband and me is typically sandwiches, frozen meals or leftovers.

I planned our menu this week with a bit of a thought on adding a few things to our freezer. I only shop once a week and our freezer was getting a little empty. I really need to get back into finding the store deals!
I love the idea of a meal plan! I should start one. It's such a good idea!
I love chicken enchiladas. Haven't made this one for quite a while already.
That sure sounds like a busy, but fun weekend you had!
Its nice to see someone still plans menus like I learned back in High School. Thank you. jerri Davis
