Another busy week has come and gone. It amazes me sometimes, just how quickly time really does fly. We had a very dry summer, but lately we have had more rain. Unfortunately, we have had two baseball games and one soccer game cancelled as a result. Hopefully, we will get in the three games we have this week.
The refrigerator and pantry seem to overrun with a bunch of this and that, so this week we are eating from the pantry and fridge to use up some stuff. I would like to get the fridge fairly empty so that I can give it a good wipe down without having to move a bunch of stuff around. This includes the freezer above my refrigerator too. My deep freeze will be next, I think it might need to be defrosted soon. So, I would like to work my way through it as well.

I have not menu planned before. I remember my mother used to always have meals planned. I find it difficult because I tend to fix meals based on what I'm craving, mood, what everyone else wants, so it's hard to have a set plan.
