After a wonderful 12 days off of work, it is time to go back. I suppose that means that I should be a little more rigid about menu planning too. It makes life a lot easier when I get home from work and we know what we are eating and actually have the ingredients on hand that we need for the dinner.

Breakfast is cereal or oatmeal each morning, although sometimes at school my daughter will have pancakes or french toast. For my son, lunch is either the menu item at school or a packed lunch with some type of sandwich. Lunch for my husband and me is typically sandwiches, frozen meals or leftovers.
