Freschetta Proud To Support Pink - a giveaway

October is National Breast Cancer awareness month and Freschetta is doing what they can to help support research by presenting Freschetta Proud to Support Pink Program!

Through October 31st, 2011, when you purchase specially marked packages of Freschetta pizza and Artisan pizza crusts you will be helping Freschetta reach their goal of a $50,000 donation to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The specially marked pizza boxes are printed with codes that you can enter at www.ProudToSupportPink.com - for each code entered, the makers of Freschetta will donate $1 to this center to support breast cancer research. You can also enter your code on the Freschetta Facebook Page!

Freschetta is also giving away 50 pink iPod shuffle players each week in October as part of a giveaway on the site to encourage participation and sharing of this program! They will also be donating 50 pink iPod shuffles to four cancer centers around America for breast cancer patients to enjoy!

I love that Freschetta is available in so many flavors and varieties. They have the Rising Crust Pizza, Brick Oven Pizza, California Style Thin Crust and more! They even come in Singles and you can get purchase their crust to make your own variety at home. Based on my count, there are over 20 varieties available! That is what I call choice. I'm torn on what flavors to try - there is the Simply...Inspired Classic Brushetta, the California Style Thin Crust Spicy Chicken and Feta Cheese, the California Style Thin Crust Sun Dried Tomato and Cheese, and so many more. Of course, my family is more of a just cheese pizza family, so that is the variety that I picked up. (next time, I will have to get one for me!)
