Zippy Cap

A while back, my family and I were given the chance to check out a fun new product called the Zippy Cap. These Nylon caps are unique in two ways from an ordinary hat. First, they can be folded up into a small pocket, the size of the hat bill. Second, when open, feature a small pocket on the front of the pack that can store small things. They are available in a number of fun, bright colors with equally fun names - Bubblegum Blue, Pinky Swear and Grape Escape for example. The nylon material makes them easy to wipe clean.

As a mom, I actually think that the hat's ability to fold into it's own pocket is it's greatest feature. This compact way of storing the hat makes it very easy to bring along in a diaper bag or purse. Having a hat available at a moment's notice could be very convenient at the park, at a ball game, on a walk and other places - to shade little eyes and cover their head.

The pocket itself is not very large, but can certainly hold some small things for the kids.
My daughter seems to have a number of small trinkets that fit in the pocket and both kids immediately thought they could store their money in the hat's pocket. I have a little concern with that, as I can see them taking off the hat and losing it - better to lose a trinket than money. It easily would hold several baseball or Pokemon cards:
I've seen my daughter check out storing some bead necklaces in the pocket, too.

My son says: "I like that the hat can fold into its own little pocket. And that there is a pocket that you can store stuff in."

Direct from Cap-sac Kids, the hats retail for $15.99 each and your payment can be made by PayPal.

No compensation was received for this post. All opinions expressed are my own or that of my family. Two Zippy Caps were provided for my children to try and that we could share our experience.
