I headed out to CVS early this week. As I was cleaning up my coupons, I came across the $2 off Method coupon that was expiring. I had been to CVS on Friday and noticed that they had a bunch of Method on clearance for $2.59. I only had one coupon, but figured that still $.59 for 25 loads of laundry was worth the trip. While there, I also wanted to use the expiring BOGO Pledge mfg coupon.
1 - Method 25 loads
2 - Pledge cleaner
1 - Neosporin
1 - Bandaid
2 - J&J First Aid kit
1 - Kellogg Fruit Loops cup
-$2 Method Mfg coupon
-$3 Pledge BOGO Mfg coupon
-$1.50 Neosporin + BandAid mfg coupon
-$1.50 J&J First Aid mfg coupon
-$1 Kellogg Cereal CRT
I paid with $10 ECB adjusted down to $9.96 and $1.25 in tax OOP. Earned $1 (green bag tag) and $5 ECBs. I had actually grabbed the First Aid Kits, hoping that they would work for the deal. They did not, so I had to exchange for a more expensive pack of BandAids that also had fewer BandAids. It wound up being another $.80 + $0.05 tax OOP. I was a little bit disappointed and in my disappointment, failed to return the First Aid kits. That is okay, we can always use an extra one in the car.
