CVS is looking a little dangerous if you are trying to watch what you eat. There are a lot of candy deals, mostly singles and King Size, available this week. I likely will pick them up and then plan to share them at work, so that I don't have the pressure of it sitting in my pantry beckoning me to eat them.
Transaction #1
1 - Cadbury Mini Eggs
1 - Gold Emblem Jelly Beans
4 - Milky Ways
3 - King Size M&Ms
-$.50 B2G1 Milky Way IP (doesn't seem to be available anymore)
Total $6.24 OOP, earn $.75, $.99, $1 and $1 ECB.
Transaction #2
1 - Colgate Toothpaste (for after I eat the candy!)
-$1 Colgate mfg coupon
Total $1.99, pay with $1 and $.99 ECBs from Transaction #1. Earn $2 ECBs.
Transaction #3
2 - John Frieda Stylers
-$2 John Frieda Styler mfg coupon
-$2 John Frieda Styler mfg coupon
Total $6, pay with $3.75 in ECBs from Transaction #1 and 2 and $2.25 OOP. Earn $3 ECBs.
Transaction #4
6 - Arizon Iced Teas
Total $3, pay with $3 ECBs from Transaction #2.
Total OOP for the day is $8.49 for $22.73 in product at sale prices, a savings of about 63%.
I might also look to pick up some vitamins, I see that there are a few that are on sale BOGO this week. In addition, I was looking at the Purex 3-in-1 sheets that are on sale for $3.99 and there is a $3 mfg coupon. I have seen it BOGO at Rite Aid, if it is less than $7.98 each at Rite Aid, it would feel like a better deal there...otherwise, I will plan to pick those up at CVS for the $.99 after coupon. Now, if only I can find some more coupons for it.
