I decided the other morning on my way to work to make my stop at CVS. We were expecting snow and I knew that I didn't want to get to the end of the week and realize that I had missed out on all the deals. I quickly grabbed the stuff I needed to do two of the deals (I thought I had the stuff for a third one but missed a couple of coupons) and headed inside. As I was checking out, a friend stopped in to fill a prescription. In talking, I failed to separate my order. When I realized that the clerk had put it all on one, I said that I meant to split it into two orders, could she please remove the last three items. She told me it was too late! What? I hadn't paid. She wasn't one of my normal cashiers (or one that I had even seen before). I was frustrated, having overspent by $10, but what could I do!

Paid with $4 and $.50 ECBs and $28.64 OOP ($27.75 + tax). I earned $1 (Green Bag Tag), $10, $10, $1.59, and $.89 ECBs. With an $18.98 increase in ECBs. my net cost was $9.66. Normally, I would have paid that much for just the Amp, so it was still a good deal - I just could have had less out of pocket. Although, I guess now I will just have less out of pocket on my next visit.
