I didn't make an actual trip to the grocery store this weekend. My husband stopped for me on Friday and picked up what we needed for the weekend. This week, our menu pulls a lot from the freezer - making it an easy week.
Saturday afternoon, we had Turkey and fixings as we celebrated my daughter's 4th birthday. I made a Princess Doll Cake, which she loved! I will share that with you later this week. After carving my turkey, I used the carcass to make Turkey Soup, so I will be packing that in my lunch this week. It is such a nice meal for the cold weather that we have been having.
Turkey, besides the turkey that I roasted, makes an appearance in the menu in the Skyline Chili and the Spaghetti and Meatballs this week.
