While my parents were entertaining the kids yesterday, I made a quick stop at Walgreens to pick up some of the week's deals.
Transaction #1
1 - Blistex Ointment
Total $2.76 ($.17 was tax), earned $2.60 RR.
Transaction #2
2 - Oral B Toothbrushes
-BOGO Oral B Mfg coupon.
Paid with $2.60 RR and $0 OOP, earned $1 RR. Actually, the transaction was a little more tricky than that, but the net effect after returns and re-rings was the above.
Transaction #3
1 - Mucinex Nasal Spray
Paid with $1 RR and $7.53 OOP ($.54 was tax). Earned $8 RR.
Transaction #4
1 - Gillette Venus Razor bonus pack with free shave gel
2 - Arizona Iced Tea can
-$2 Venus Razor mfg coupon
Paid with $8 RR and $1.73 OOP ($.74 was tax), earned a $4 RR.
Transaction #5
4 - Benefiber Sticks
2 - Arizona Iced Tea can
-$8 4x$2 Benefiber coupon (there was a sign in the aisle that coupon was available at the counter, ask cashier)
-$2 Benefiber mfg coupon
-$1 Benefiber mfg coupon
Paid with $4 RR and $6.03 OOP ($.07 was tax).
If I had known that they had that coupon for the Benefiber, I would have brought more coupons with me - I was glad I had two, but know that I had a few more at home. The cost before my coupons for each box was $2.99, which isn't too bad considering shelf price seems to be $7 - $7.50 for them normally.
For the day, I spent $18.05 OOP for $68.60 in product.
