It was a busy weekend. We celebrated 3 birthdays - one with a party and two at a brunch. We also went to a family wedding. It was nice to spend time hanging out with family for most of the weekend. Unfortunately, I'm starting to come down with a cold - but I am trying to fight it. If only I could find those EmergenC samples that I know I left on the counter, but have mysteriously disappeared. You know that they will reemerge later this week. I didn't head to the store this weekend, having picked up a few deals at Giant Eagle on Thursday night. I might try to make a quick stop one evening, but it will depend on our schedules.
This week is busy again with soccer and football. Thankfully, the group practice for soccer is over, freeing up a weeknight for us. Many meals still need to be ones that are quick to put on the table in order for our family to eat a family meal. Some meals, I prep the night before so that I just have to finish the meal the night we eat it.
Our menu includes turkey only once, in the Chili on Monday.
