We were out of milk this morning, so a morning run to the grocery was in order. I took my two kids with me and promised the family donuts, since we didn't have any milk for breakfast and they had to wait for breakfast.
I spent $67.75 for all of my groceries for the week (as well as my stock up items) and saved $69.71, just over 50% savings. This was for 60 items, which was not too bad, considering I purchased produce, bread, a 3# bag of chicken, 2 6-pk kid's yogurts, donuts, a pack of Silly Bandz for one assistant shopper (which she promptly paid for when we got home) and other "non-deal" type groceries. I did get some really good deals combining sales and coupons.
I got these 8 cans of Progresso soups for a net cost of $1. They were on sale 8/$8. I had 4 $.50/2 coupons, which doubled to a total of $4 off. I earned a $3 OYNO coupon at check out.
