CVS Scenarios - week of 7/18

This week looks to be a decent week at CVS. Yet again though, I find myself wishing for a $/$$ coupon. Perhaps I will get lucky this week and get one from the coupon machine. I do have some high value ECBs, so I need to build bigger transactions.

Transaction #1
2 - M&M Pretzel
2 - Revlon Super Lustrous
1 - Bounty 8pk

-$1 Revlon color mfg coupon
-$1 Revlon color mfg coupon
-$5 $5/2 Revlon CRT
-$2 Bounty CRT
-$.25 Bounty mfg coupon

Total $10.71 OOP (or in my case $10 ECB and $.71 OOP), earn $1 and $4 ECBs.

Transaction #2
1 - Tide

-$1 Tide mfg coupon

Total $9.97, pay with $5 ECBs from Transaction #1 and $4.97 OOP. Earn $2 ECBs.

Transaction #3
1 - Dial Body Wash

-$1 Dial Body Wash IP

Total $2.88, pay with $2 ECBs from Transaction #2 and $.88 OOP. Earn $1 ECB.

Total OOP is $16.56 (less if you are starting with ECBs) with $1 ECB left to roll.

Some other considerations:
Gillette ProGlide Razor
-$4 ProGlide mfg coupon
Total $5.97 OOP, earn $5 ECBs, or a net cost of $.97.

Schick Intuition or Quattro
-$4 Schick mfg coupon
Total $4.99 OOP, earn $4 ECBs, or a net cost of $.99.

Huggies Diapers
-$1.50 Huggies mfg coupon
Total $7.49 OOP, earn $3 ECBs, or a net cost of $4.49.

I also have two of the Bounty CRTs, so I'm thinking this might be a good time to stock up on paper towels. I feel like a net of $4.98 for 8 rolls, sounds pretty good - it's just over 62cents/roll.

CVS $5 Challenge
Transaction #1
2 - Revlon Super Lustrous

-$1 Revlon color mfg coupon
-$1 Revlon color mfg coupon
-$5 $5/2 Revlon CRT

Total $4.98 OOP, earn $4 ECBs.

Transaction #2
2 - M&M Pretzel
1 - Dial Body Wash

-$1 Dial Body Wash IP

Total $3.88, have them adjust your $4 ECB down or add a small filler (the caramels at the register are a good choice). Earn $1 and $1 ECB.

Total OOP $4.98 with $2 ECBs to roll for $16.86 in product at sale price (a savings of 70%).
