I stopped in at CVS on Tuesday at lunch time. I had made a trip out to Goodwill to make my donation of the leftover garage sale stuff, so while I was out I figured I would stop.
I wound up not picking up the paper towel deal. There were only 52 sheets on a roll, I felt like the paper towels I normally buy had more sheets per roll and wasn't sure that 4.75 was a good price point for 8 rolls if they only had 52 sheets.
They were out of the Pretzel M&Ms, but they told me that I could substitute regular or peanut M&Ms for the ECB deal - evidently they are completely out of them and didn't want to even do rainchecks.
I also was told for the first time that they wouldn't take CRTs after they were expired. Normally, depending on the clerk and store, I could use them a few days to a few weeks after expiration. I'm not sure if it was this person or a new policy. I guess I will have to find out. I try to use them when they are still valid, but the one that I tried to use had expired on Monday and I was there on Tuesday.
I had a rain check, which does not expire, from last summer back to school sales that I wound up using because I found it in the back of my envelope while in the store.
