JCPenney - Clearance Finds

On Sunday, between seeing Toy Story 3 and dinner at the Macaroni Grill, we made a stop at JCPenney. They seem to have a lot of great stuff on clearance right now. I am always looking for new clothes to refresh my work wardrobe and I like to buy next season for the kids when it is cheap.

I was able to get 3 pairs of shorts, 4 summer shirts and a pair of tennis shoes for my daughter, 3 shirts and 1 pants/shorts/shirt pajama set for my son, and 2 blouses, 1 sweater and 1 pair of slacks for me. There weren't any bonus coupons (I asked if there were any I might have missed), but I was still able to get all of this for only $117 plus tax. I saved $214, meaning I had gotten $331 worth of clothes and shoes for only $117, about 65% savings. I feel pretty good about that. The sad thing is the most expensive thing I purchased was the Spiderman Pajama set for $17.49.
