Fiber One Yogurt (and giftcard giveaway!)

When I am trying to watch what I eat in an effort to lose or maintain weight, one of my indulgences is yogurt. Now, you might be thinking, yogurt isn't unhealthy and I didn't say it was, I simply said it is my indulgence. I like to have a sweet, creamy treat to satisfy my needs for something sweet.

Recently, I was invited to try Fiber One Yogurt from Yoplait. I hadn't tried it before, mostly because it was sweetened with artificial sweeteners, which I try to limit and which typically I can taste in products. I selected the Key Lime Pie flavor to try.

The first thing that I noticed was that it was only 50 calories per serving, with no fat and 5 grams of fiber. As a member of Weight Watchers, I was pleased to learn that this is a 1 Point item (actually, when I entered the calories and fiber, it came back as 0 Point - but when I looked up other flavors, they were assigned 1 Point in the database).

When I enjoyed the yogurt cup at lunch, I was pleasantly surprised that I couldn't taste the artificial sweeteners. The Key Lime Pie flavor did come through. It was a good size serving, providing enough yogurt to satisfy my want for a "dessert".
