I didn't make it out to CVS at all last week. In fact, other than a last minute store run during making dinner one evening, I didn't get anywhere. It was just cold and snowy and there weren't any deals that made me want to go out in it or stay out longer.
There are quite a few extra value days ECB deals advertised this week. My problem is that many of them only get to regular sale prices with the ECBs factored in and since they are two packs, you can likely only use one coupon per package, rather than per pack. So, to me, for most I would be better off waiting until they are on sale elsewhere, where I can buy two individual packs and use two coupons. Now, of course, if I get a $/$$ coupon or have ECBs to burn, I would probably include some of these value packs as they aren't bad prices, they just aren't better than I could find normally.
Here are my thoughts on the deals that I likely will try to do this week.
Transaction #1
2 - Pantene Shampoo/Conditioner
3 - Benefiber Sticks pack
-$3 $3/2 Pantene mfg coupon
-$2 Benefiber Mfg IP
-$2 Benefiber Mfg IP
-$2 Benefiber Peelie
Total $20.92 OOP, earn $2 and $10 ECBs.
Transaction #2
2 - Herbal Essence
1 - Covergirl Clean Foundation
1 - Mascara
-$1 Herbal Essence Mfg coupon
-$1 Herbal Essence Mfg coupon
Total $13.76. Pay with $12 in ECBs from Transaction #1 and $1.76 OOP. Earn $5 ECBs.
Total OOP of $22.68 with $5 ECBs to roll.
