I headed out to CVS today at lunch time, because it was still a little too cold to walk. I got a lot of stuff for a great price! I strolled down the candy aisle and found a blinkie with $1/2 M&M coupon, which was a good thing, because my area didn't get the M&M coupon. When I headed to the cooler to get the Gatorade, again no coupon in my area, I found a 50cent Sobe Lifewater coupon - so I traded from Gatorade to Sobe to save.
I got all of this in two transactions:
2 M&M Valentine's Day
4 Hershey Extra Dark
1 Windex Twinpack
2 CVS Spectravite Multivitamin
1 Sobe Lifewater
3 Pepsi brand 12 pk
3 Stacy's Pita/Bagel Chips
-$1 M&M CVS e-mail coupon
-$1 $1/2 M&M blinkie
-$1 Hershey Extra Dark Bar mfg coupon
-$1 Hershey Extra Dark Bar mfg coupon
-$1 $1/2 Windex mfg coupon
-$.50 Sobe Lifewater CVS coupon
-$1 Stacy's Pita mfg coupon
-$1 Stacy's Pita mfg coupon
-$1 Stacy's Pita mfg coupon
-$1 Stacy's Pita CVS coupon
-$1 Stacy's Pita CVS coupon
-$1 Stacy's Pita CVS coupon
-$5 CVS CRT
On the first transaction I paid $12.50 in ECBs and $1.01 OOP, earning $2 and $2 ECBs. Then, on the second transaction I paid $8 in ECBs and $.83 OOP, earning a $10 ECB. My net cost, OOP and reduced ECBs was $8.34.
I likely will head back and repeat the Pepsico deal with 6 12-packs of soda, but am hoping for more selection at another store.
Check out Super Savings Saturday for more deals.
