CVS Deals - 1/14

Headed back out to CVS on Thursday over my lunch hour. I found those Hershey Extra Dark coupons, but when I got to this store, they didn't have them. I might try to get back to the other store yet this week to see if they still have any of the clearance pouches. The $1 coupon would make them free. I did get some great deals though.

Transaction #1
1 - 20ct Cottonelle Double Roll (don't forget to leave a comment here for a chance to win a Cottonelle Gift Basket)
2 - Oust Surface and Air

-$5 $5/$20 CVS coupon
-$.50 Cottonelle Mfg coupon
-$3.99 BOGO Oust Mfg coupon

Paid with $11 in ECBs and $1.37 OOP ($1 was tax). Earned $4, $6 and $1 (bag tag) ECBs. So, if you consider it, my net cost for all of this was $1.37 or for just the toilet paper, that is less than 7 cents per double roll! I think that is a great deal!

Transaction #2
3 - Boost High Protein
1 - Dark Chocolate Marshmallow Santa (moment of weakness, saved OOP by allowing me to use an ECB)

-$5 $5/$20 CRT
-$2 Boost Peelie
-$1.50 Boost Mfg coupon
-$1.50 Boost Mfg coupon

Paid with $14 in ECBs and $.16 OOP. Earned $6 ECBs. So, I got 18 bottles of Boost for a net cost of $8.16 or $.45 each. Not too bad for the protein shake to go with my exercise (plus I got a free treat!).

For the day, my total OOP was $1.53 and my ECBs decreased by $8. Total "cost" for the day was $9.53.

  1. Great deal on the toilet paper. I used to be able to get toilet paper for free from Albertsons, but they are closing, so I guess I have to start figuring out these other tp deals!
