After a very long spell of no CVS, I headed out today after work. I had a $5/$30 coupon that was set to expire and my ECBs were aging too!
Transaction #1
2 - Triaminic Cold Medicine
1 - Delsym Cough
1 - Earinse
2 - Gold Emblem Nuts Snack Packs
-$5 $5/$30 CVS coupon
-$1.50 Triaminic Mfg coupon
-$1.50 Triaminic Mfg coupon
-$2 Delsym CVS coupon (from $100 flu book)
-$2 $2/2 GE Nuts CVS CRT
Paid with $10.99 in assorted ECBs and $8.70 OOP. My OOP was higher than I would have liked, but since I earned $10 and $7.99 in ECBs, my net cost was only $1.70, which I felt better about. Then, as I was leaving, I reviewed my receipt and realized that the Cashew Snack Pack had rung up incorrectly. I headed back into the store and got $.10 back. I know, it was only ten cents, but if you let all those ten cents go, they really will add up.
