Breakfast is one of my favorite meals. Always has been. I like it so much, that we have it for dinner a couple of times a month. Breakfast for dinner is both a welcome reprieve from the everyday and a chance to enjoy a hot breakfast (there's not time at breakfast).
One dish that is simple to make, but a tasty treat for breakfast is Monkey Bread or this twist that one of my friends introduced me to:
Sticky Rolls
2 loaves of frozen bread dough - partially thawed
1 package butterscotch pudding (cook and serve type)
1/2 c butter
1/2 c brown sugar.
Cut dough into slices and place in a buttered bundt pan. Sprinkle with the butterscotch pudding. Let dough rise for a couple of hours or overnight. Combine butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until sugar melts and becomes like a thick syrup. Pour mixture over bread dough.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Enjoy!
