I have a lot of utensils - spatulas, wooden spoons, pizza cutters, ice cream scoops, scrapers, whisks, tongs, cheese graters, potato mashers, and so on. I have a drawer that was dedicated to many of these tools. The problem was the drawer was so full and disorganized, that we could never seem to find what we were looking for or if we did, then we couldn't get everything back in the drawer so that it could open and close properly.
I tried to organize, but it never failed that it was in complete disarray in a matter of days. I had a crock that I would keep some utensils in on my counter top, but it didn't fit everything that I needed it to. Then, a few weeks ago (perhaps it is months now), I hosted a Pampered Chef party. One of the things that I had on my wish list was the Tool Turn-About.
With this new tool, many of my kitchen utensils are now within easy reach of my stove, allowing me to quickly grab a spoon to stir or serve. No more hunting through the drawer for all of my tools. As an added bonus, the cheese graters and funnels and such that are left in the drawer are now more accessible and easier to find.
This new organization tool works for me! For more things that work, check out Works for Me Wednesday over at We Are THAT Family.
