I skipped the grocery store this weekend. My husband picked up some milk and bread when he was out and that should get us through the week.
Last week, I used the potatoes I had bought to make hash browns. I had never made homemade hash browns before, but they turned out great. We even served them up Waffle House style, smothered, covered, diced, etc. We had them with Chicken Sausage, which was very tasty - even my husband, who is not a fan of sausage said they weren't too bad. So, this week, we are having hash browns again, as part of Friday's breakfast for dinner.
At our house, the focus is on dinners. I tend to only list the main course and any standard side we have with it. We do still have vegetables and/or fruit with each of our dinners, I just don't always call them out.
