CVS Deals - 8/9

So, I headed out to CVS, with my Huggies coupons and my $5/$25 coupon in hand on Sunday.

I learned at check out that the coupon from watching the Ready Fill Video/Quiz weren't good until 8/10. No where on the coupon or on the video/website did it say that - I even rewatched the video when I got home to check on it and see if I had missed it. The cashier told me I couldn't use it. The shift manager happened to walk by as I was looking for my $4/$20 coupon from the pharmacy coupon booklet. I stopped her and asked if she knew anything about the Ready Fill $5/$25 coupon. She looked it over and didn't see anything on the coupon that indicated a start date for the offer, so she told the cashier to just enter it as a $5 coupon. I thanked her and she said she was going to go into the office and try to find out what was the deal with the coupon.

Paid with $3, $6 and $7.99 ECBs and $1.11 (nothing but tax) OOP. Earned $9.99 and $4 ECBs. So, for a net cost of $3.11 with tax, I had gotten 1 pack of diapers and 1 pack of Pull-ups, plus a "bonus" makeup.

1 - CVS Spectravite multivitamin 130ct
1 - CVS 500mg C 100ct

-$2 $2/$10 vitamin purchase from pharmacy coupon booklet

Paid with $4 ECBs and $3.43 OOP. Earned $1 ECBs. I'm now good on multivitamins for another 6 mos.

So, in summary, I spent $4.54 OOP and decreased ECBs by $6. So my net cost for this trip was $10.54. Still a pretty good deal when you consider all that I got and that my actual cash OOP was under $5.
