There is nothing better than a new box of crayons! Thanks for sharing this with other busy moms!
My back to school prep starts mid-summer... they have slept in, played, and relaxed for the first few weeks...then we start reading a series (we range from 7th gr to hs at home now) They get caught up in the stories, and get their minds involved in books, so that it isn't such a shock when we start up again.

thanks!

My favorite crayola product is quite simply...the crayons. Nothing beats a new box of 64 crayola crayons. Other companies have tried to compete...but to no avail! Thanks for the chance to win.

How am I preparing...Hmmm. Well, I'm buying things one small step at a time. I'm having 3 kids attend this year. Got my daughter Nevaeh her kindergarten check up today (along with shots, poor baby!) I am also putting the kids to bed at the time they would go down when school starts. I just need to work on the early rise part ;)
Thank you so much for the chance!

Hi! We are preparing by getting my girls room spic and span and organized. I think it's very important to have a clean room to come home to the first day of school so they have somewhere to put there belongings. It will also make it less stressful finding clothes and shoes in the morning. We are also labeling school supplies, organizing them and getting backpacks ready!

My twins are going to kindergarten, so we've been preparing by reading lots of children's books about starting school so they know what to expect.

I attended the Back-to-School GNO last week. I learned that the Miss Bindergarten series of books are good for reading to kids who are going to kindergarten. My Twitter name is @ParentingAuthor.

My favorite Crayola product is washable markers, with the emphasis on "washable"! I love that I don't have to worry about my twins ruining the table if they go out of the lines.

I like to get the Fall subject reviews going early by getting daily practice workbooks from Rainbow Resource. They're tiny exercises each weekday that take 5 minutes or less but get the mind sharp again.
