Having been away for most of last week, I actually did my menu planning and shopping on Friday, so this is a slightly extended version of Menu Plan Monday. My shopping consisted of a trip to Buehler's, where I got a great deal on sugar and ground turkey, and a couple of trips to Kmart (details here and here) to get some paper towels, toilet paper and a few other items.
At our house, the focus is on dinners. I tend to only list the main course and any standard side we have with it. We do still have vegetables and/or fruit with each of our dinners, I just don't always call them out.
Frequently, my menu consists of many meals that don't require a recipe (typically quicker and easier), but this week there are a few recipes. I hope to get them posted and linked up soon, so check back.
