I headed to the grocery on Saturday to pick up a few deals and a lot of produce and bread. We even stopped at Walmart, in part to pick up cereal deals and in part to get the free ice cream they had been touting. Turned out to be a very disappointing ice cream experience. I was thinking with the publicity that they put behind it, it was going to be the packet, the cup or the bar...instead at our store, they cut everything into 4 or more portions. I'm just glad I was also stopping to buy some cereal or I would have been seriously upset that we stopped.
At our house, the focus is on dinners. I tend to only list the main course and any standard side we have with it. We do still have vegetables and/or fruit with each of our dinners, I just don't always call them out.

Weekdays breakfast is at daycare for my daughter, the rest of us eat cold cereal, frozen waffles, oatmeal, toast or whatever strikes our fancy. Lunch we pack, usually leftovers for me. My son either packs or buys lunch at school. If he packs, it is generally a lunch meat sandwich or a PB&J with some sides.
