There wasn't a lot about this week's CVS ad that excited me and I read somewhere that CVS is doing away with their monthly ECB deals. I haven't confirmed that yet, but plan to inquire at the store. Most months, I only take advantage of a few deals, but still they are nice to have.
Here are my thoughts:
Transaction #1
4 - 12pk CocaCola
3 - Vitamin Water
-$3 3x$1 Vitamin Water Mfg coupon
Total $17, earn $10 ECBs.
Transaction #2
1 - Addidas Deodorant
1 - Colgate Max White
3 - Kellogg's cereals
-$1 Addidas Deodorant Mfg coupon
-$1 Colgate Mfg coupon
-$3 3x$1 Kellogg's IP
Total due $11.98. Pay with $10 ECBs from the first transaction and $1.98 OOP, earn $5 & $5 ECBs.

CVS $5 Challenge
Transaction #1
1 - Colgate Max White
-$1 Colgate Mfg coupon
Total due $1.99, earn $2 ECBs.
Transaction #2
1 - Addidas Deodorant
-$1 Addidas Deodorant Mfg coupon
Total $2.99. Pay with $2 ECBs from the first transaction and $.99 OOP. Earn $3 ECBs.
Total $2.98 OOP, with $3 ECBs left to roll.

In addition, there are a number of CVS items that are BOGO. I have a couple of $2/$10 CVS brand coupons that printed last week. Since their registers take these based on pre-BOGO, this could amount to some even better deals. I will have to wander about and check out some prices on things to see what will work best for me. I'm still wanting to try their trash bags, which I have heard are good.
