There were a few two day deals at CVS that I wanted to take advantage of this week and I had an ECB that was expiring on Sunday, so on my way to the grocery store on Sunday, I made a stop at my local CVS. I finally was able to use a raincheck I had from before Christmas, they don't expire, I confirmed.
Here is what I got:
Transaction #1
1 - Right Guard Professional Strength
1 - Clearasil Daily Facial Wash
1 - CVS Sunscreen 2 oz
-$1 CVS Sunscreen CRT
Paid with $4, $5 and $2 in ECBs and $.20 OOP. Earned $4 and $3.99 ECBs, plus $6 ECBs from my raincheck. My store does a horrible job with labeling the ECB deals and I frequently find myself referencing my ad to make sure I am buying the right thing. I was using a rain check for $6/$6 on the Right Guard and did not realize it was on a weekly deal as well, hence the added ECBs.
Transaction #2
2 - Bandaids
2 - Speedstick Pro
1 - First Aid Kit
-$1 Bandaids Mfg coupon
-$1 Bandaids Mfg coupon
-$.75 Speedstick Mfg coupon
-$1 J&J First Aid Mfg coupon
Paid with $6 ECBs and $3.99 ECBs, adjusted down to $3.80, and $.25 OOP. Earned $4 and $7.98 ECBs.
I started the day with $11 in ECBs and finished the day with $15.98 in ECBs. Overall a good day, plus I got to stock up on some stuff that we need.
