I had trouble putting the word Deals in my title today. Despite having visited CVS twice this week, I purchased only two things. I did use a coupon though, so I suppose it was a deal.
2 - Gold Emblem Gummy Bears
-$1 $1/2 Gold Emblem Candy CRT
$.98 OOP.
I went in to do a couple of the deals, but they didn't have what I wanted. I wanted to pick up a couple of kids toothbrushes for the Colgate deal - I seem to have a large number of adult toothbrushes, but limited kid's ones. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of SpongeBob - haven't acutally watched, just not a fan, and that was the only toothbrush choice for my son. I might still try to get out tomorrow to check another store.
I wanted to get some of the Kellogg's cereal, but realized I didn't have those coupons with me at the store. Of course, they were out of some of the choices, so I might not have gotten them even if I had my coupon. I was disappointed, but I have stocked up lately, so it wasn't that big of a deal.
I got a CRT and debated getting the Irish Spring / Soft Soap Bodywash deal, but I couldn't remember how much I had at home and figured, if I make it back out to get the toothbrushes, and if we need it, I can get it then. It would wind up being about $2.75 net for two bottles...not bad, not great.
I am still carrying around a rain check for some other deals, but it always seems that it takes months for the rain check items to come back in. Do they not plan for their deals, or is it by design? Either way, I keep checking.
To see some deals that others got this week, head over to CVS Superstars at the "Cent"sible Sawyer, Money Saving Mom's Super Savings Saturday and Shopping Superstars at the Thrifty Mama.
