Another busy week ahead.
We got a special treat on Sunday when our friends came over and prepared moose for us. They used it in meatloaf and parmesan cutlets. It was definitely different - "gamey" they called it.
I did head to the grocery Sunday and did some stocking up on cereal, as well as my regular weekly shopping. I had all of those $1 on Kellogg's cereals from a couple of weeks ago that will expire soon and some of those $1 on Quaker Oatmeal coupons. One local grocery was having a good breakfast sale and I took advantage. I picked up 12 boxes of cereal and 4 boxes of oatmeal for under $15. That felt like a pretty good deal to me. I also used up a couple of VocalPoint coupons for the DelMonte Fruit Naturals that expired today.
At our house, we don't eat breakfast or lunch together during the week, so there is minimal planning that goes into those meals. For us, the focus is dinner.

Weekdays breakfast is at daycare for my daughter, the rest of us eat cold cereal, frozen waffles, oatmeal, toast or whatever strikes our fancy. Lunch we pack, usually leftovers for me. My son either packs or buys lunch at school. If he packs, it is generally a lunch meat sandwich or a PB&J with some sides.
