This morning in doing some cleaning up and checking to see if I could submit the P&G offer for $120 in savings coupons when you spend $50, I found a CVS receipt with some unused ECBs attached. They expired on Thursday! I called my local store to find out if they would honor them or if I needed to contact corporate - I was told they could honor them! Yeah! So, I headed back out to CVS for another adventure.
I finally found the Throat Coolers in store. It was rather by coincidence that we even stopped in the aisle. I wasn't looking for them, but was glad to finally find them.
Here's what I got:
Transaction #1
1 - CVS 30ct Cough Drops
2 - Throat Coolers
1 - Venus Embrace
-$1.19 Free CVS cough drops CRT
-$4.99 BOGO Throat Coolers
-$4 Venus Embrace mfg coupon
Paid with $9 ECBs and $.59 OOP. Earned $9.98 and $4 ECBs.
Transaction #2
2 - Throat Coolers
5 - 12pk Mountain Dew
1 - 2L Mountain Dew
1 - Stacy's Pita chips
1 - Arizona Ice Tea
-$4.99 BOGO Throat Coolers
-$1.50 Stacy's mfg coupon
Paid with $1, $2, $10, $10 ECBs and $2.79 OOP. Earned $10 and $9.98 ECBs.
Total OOP for the day was $3.38. I thought I had $29 in ECBs to start the day, but when I found the other $3, I had $32. Then, I ended the day at $33.96 ECBs. So, net net, today's trip cost $1.42.
To see how others fared, check out CVS Superstars at The "Cent"sible Sawyer and Super Savings Saturday at Money Saving Mom.

I know I'm a bit late on this but nice going on those savings. People really can save with coupons both online and off. In fact, if you'll allow, I have set up a site called Discounts That Count where I my aim is to help people find coupons online. I know it's a bit of shameless plug but it is within the context of the site theme. Besides it's free for anyone to use!
