CVS Deals - 12/30

I headed over to CVS to use up some coupons that I had expiring at the end of the year. I wound up doing the one transaction wrong and could have gotten the more expensive foundation for less out of pocket. I might go back today, since I still have the same coupon. I also did them in the wrong sequence, I could have used the ECBs from the second transaction to pay for the first transaction instead of paying so much on a gift card. I guess that is the value of being prepared.

Paid with $3.99 and $2.59 (adjusted down to $2.27) ECBs. Earned $2 and $1 ECBs.

Not a great week overall. I reduced my ECB position by $3.58 and spent money from my gift card. However, it still cost me nothing OOP and I got things that we use and will need soon (and some things that we didn't need, like more candy).
