Menu Plan Monday
This week started out with a breakfast with Elmo. The youngest, who the trip was really for, predictably didn't want to sit with Elmo. She finally settled in enough to give him a high five. The week will end with a birthday celebration for the youngest.
At our house, we don't eat breakfast or lunch together during the week, so there is minimal planning that goes into those meals. For us, the focus is dinner.
Sunday
Continental Breakfast with Elmo
Dinner out
Monday
Pork Tenderloin
Tuesday
Tomato Soup/Grilled Cheese
Wednesday
Cube Steaks/Rice
Thursday
Pizza
Friday
Pasta
Saturday
Cereal
Sandwiches
Birthday party - Turkey dinner
Weekdays breakfast is at daycare for my daughter, the rest of us eat cold cereal, frozen waffles, oatmeal, toast or whatever strikes our fancy. Lunch we pack, usually leftovers for me. My son either packs or buys lunch at school. If he packs, it is generally a lunch meat sandwich or a PB&J with some sides.

YAY! Another menu with Soup on it! I just love soup!
ReplyDeleteHow does one arrange to have breakfast with Elmo! That sounds amazing!
I love MPM! I also work at home as a Marketing Director and still co-manage our self storage facility with the hubby and the teen.
ReplyDeleteTalk about being busy.
Thank goodness for MPM!
Mmmmmm... Pork Tenderloin sounds really good.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking menu! Tomato soup and grilled cheese is always a fave in our house! Thanks for sharing! :D
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

I am another big soup fan. Anything that I can just throw into one pot and let it cook is good with me!

Breakfast with Elmo was at the Science Center as part of a Sesame Street exhibit. It was an okay time, it was a continental breakfast (I was hoping at least for pancakes or scrambled eggs on the buffet) and my daughter liked Elmo as long as he was at least 50 feet away.
