I'm new to the Walgreens process. We don't have one close to home, so I don't get to make it there often. This week though, I saw some deals that I think I will have to take advantage of. I used some ad scans to build this, so hopefully, the ad is correct for my area. I plan to check it out at Walgreens.com when it becomes available.
The plan:
Transaction #1
3 Robitussin @$3.99 (earn $10 RR WYB 3)
- $9 => 3 x $3 mfg coupons - you can find $1 coupons here.
$2.97 OOP; earn $10 RR.
Transaction #2
1 Pamper's Easy Ups @$9.49
- $2 mfg coupon from recent insert
1 Crest Pro Health Rinse @$4.49 (earn $4.49 RR)
- $.75 mfg coupon from last week's insert
$11.23 - $10 RR from Trans #1 = $1.23 OOP; earn $4.49 RR.
Transaction #3
3 Dimetapp @3.99 (earn $10 RR WYB 3)
- $6 => 3 x $2 mfg coupons - you can find $2 coupons here.
$5.97 - $4.49 RR from Trans #2 = $1.48 OOP; earn $10 RR.
Transaction #4
1 Pamper's Easy Ups @$9.49
- $2 mfg coupon from recent insert
4 bags Swedish Fish/Sour Patch Kids @ 2/$3
- $2 => 2 x $1/2 mfg coupons
2 bags Chex Mix
- $2 => 2 x $1 mfg coupons (there are some IPs out there, if you can get them to print.
$11.49 - $10 RR from Trans #3 = $1.49 OOP.
So, for under $8 OOP (there's got to be some tax in the above scenarios) I will have two packs of Easy Ups for when my daughter is a bit older, cold medicine for the season (hopefully enough to share as well), some mouth rinse, some candy and some snacks. Not too shabby.
Am I missing something? Am I going to be able to roll RR like I do ECBs? Do the cashiers give issue to multiple transactions?

I'm new to the Walgreens process too, but from what I understand the Walgreens system considers the RR a manufactor coupon, so you are going to have to add an item so you have one the same amount of items as coupons when you do transactions involving paying with RR.
Kathryn - I actually went to Walgreens today and learned that if they try to scan the RR before the other coupons, it rejects it. However, my cashier decided to reverse the order, voiding off the coupons and processing the RR first. Then, the computer let her use all my coupons and the RR, which exceeded my item count by 1. I'm not sure if this is always the case, but it worked on each of my three transactions.
